About Pyry
Pyry joined VALOR in March 2022 after spending a university exchange semester in Vienna. Previously, he worked as a network development trainee for Neste. Pyry is currently studying in the master’s program in Industrial Engineering and Management at Aalto University.
Expertise
Pyry has previous experience in business development, market analysis and the improvement of the application testing workflow. At Valor, Pyry has mainly worked on projects in energy and the healthcare sector, focusing on strategy and operational improvement.
Examples of recent assignments:
- Improving customer communication and cooperation of two different organizations in the healthcare industry
- Advising a public social and healthcare operator on the improvement of sourcing operations
- Analyzing and developing the procurement of a Finnish energy company.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management at Aalto University with a minor in Advanced Energy Systems.
Outside the Office
Pyry plays a team sport called bandy in HIFK. In addition to spending time with skates on his feet, he enjoys playing tennis, skiing down slopes or doing almost any sporty activities. Fishing with his friends at Lake Saimaa is another important way for Pyry to relax outside work and sports.
