Bozorg Amiri has been appointed Senior Advisor at VALOR Partners. He supports VALOR’s clients with strategic advisory services, with a particular focus on board- and executive-level work as well as growth- and transformation-related engagements.
Bozorg has an exceptionally long and versatile background in strategy consulting and business development. He has served as a Partner at KPMG Finland and as Head of KPMG Global Strategy Group Finland, where he was responsible for strategic advisory, M&A-related strategy, and demanding client engagements across multiple industries. During his career at KPMG, he worked extensively with top management teams and boards, both in Finland and internationally.
Prior to KPMG, Bozorg was the founder and Managing Partner of Synergy Group Europe SGE Ltd. Synergy operated as an independent strategy and management consulting firm for over two decades, giving Bozorg a long-standing presence in the Finnish consulting landscape and deep experience in long-term client relationships. Earlier in his career, he also gained industrial and international experience within the Dow Group, as well as consulting experience at Navigant.
At VALOR, Bozorg’s role strengthens the firm’s strategic capabilities, particularly in situations involving complex business challenges, large-scale transformation programs, and hands-on execution. According to Henrikki Palva, Managing Partner at VALOR, Bozorg’s extensive experience in strategy consulting and the Finnish corporate landscape enhances the firm’s ability to support clients in demanding strategic matters. Bozorg himself sees the collaboration as a natural continuation of his previous work: he is motivated by VALOR’s approach of combining rigorous analytical strategy work with pragmatic execution, as well as the opportunity to work with boards and executive teams in situations where far-reaching decisions are made.
