The acquisition of Orange Energia, which is one of the leading independent electricity retailers in Poland, substantially strengthens Fortum’s position in Poland by adding c. 130 000 customers and supports Fortum’s strategic ambition to deliver reliable and clean energy to drive decarbonization. The transaction is expected to close in June-July 2025.
