Lauri is close to completing his Master’s degree in Economics and Business Administration. He is excited by challenging problems and by following societal developments.
Expertise
Lauri has built a strong understanding of how startups operate through work at two different companies. At the beginning of his studies, he worked at Compensate, a company developing a carbon offsetting platform, and for the past three years he has worked at The Upright Project, which develops net impact data and measurement solutions. His work at Upright strengthened his ability to understand value chains and cause-and-effect relationships.
Education
Lauri is close to graduating with a Master’s degree in Economics and Business Administration from Aalto University, majoring in Economics. His minors are Industrial Engineering and Management, and Finance.
Outside the office
Lauri enjoys sports in many forms, with running as his main one. His goal for this year is to run a marathon. He also goes to the gym and plays padel with his friends. He is working on improving as a home cook and getting back into his long-time hobby of playing the piano. He is a passionate follower of international, especially U.S. politics. Most importantly, he values spending quality time with his family and friends.
