Joel joined VALOR at the beginning of May after working in political advisory roles in the Finnish Parliament. Most recently, he worked on economic policy issues and previously assisted two ministers as well as the chair of a parliamentary group.
Joel is at his best when working on broad and complex topics that allow him to challenge himself and continuously learn new things. What inspires him most in his work is the opportunity to help clients solve real challenges and answer important questions, as well as the people-oriented nature of consulting. Consulting appeals to him for much the same reason as politics: the work feels meaningful when it contributes to solving real problems and, in doing so, helps move society in a better direction.
