Iiro joined VALOR in March 2025 as an intern, while he was simultaneously finishing up a degree in finance at Aalto University. He hopes to gain broad consulting experience across different sectors, especially healthcare and energy.
Expertise
Prior to VALOR, Iiro has worked in the banking industry for a few years in various roles. He has also been involved in a growing startup.
Education
Iiro holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and is currently pursuing the master’s equivalent at Aalto University. He’s especially interested in behavioural and sustainable finance. Iiro has studied abroad in both Australia, at the University of Sydney, and at Nova University of Lisbon, in Portugal.
Outside the Office
In the summertime, you’ll find Iiro at the beach playing volleyball or surfing. Come winter, he’ll switch to skis or a snowboard. Since these sports peak outside of Finland for him, he greatly enjoys traveling. Beyond sports, Iiro is passionate about music and plays the piano.
